INJ includes contributions, but not limited to, in the following fields: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Gerontological Nursing, Management Nursing, Family Nursing and Nursing in Community.

Starting in August 2023, INJ (Indonesian Nursing Journal) will only accept papers written in English, It aims to improve the journal's quality and expand access to readers around the world. Manuscripts have been submitted in Indonesian after this announcement would either be rejected without further review or would be asked to be corrected. The decision is the sole prerogative of the journal Editor and cannot be appealed.
