Penerapan total productive maintenance (TPM) terhadap peningkatan efisiensi mesin CNC di industri manufaktur

Abstract

Mesin Computer Numerical Control (CNC) memiliki peran penting dalam industri manufaktur karena mendukung presisi dan produktivitas. Namun, permasalahan downtime, performa rendah, dan produk cacat masih sering terjadi akibat lemahnya manajemen pemeliharaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) terhadap peningkatan efisiensi mesin CNC. Penelitian menggunakan desain pretest–posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol pada 10 mesin CNC di industri manufaktur logam. Efisiensi diukur menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang mencakup ketersediaan, performa, dan kualitas. Data dikumpulkan sebelum dan sesudah implementasi TPM selama 6 bulan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh indikator: ketersediaan meningkat dari 75,2% menjadi 88,0%, performa dari 82,1% menjadi 92,0%, kualitas dari 90,4% menjadi 96,5%, serta nilai OEE rata-rata dari 68,5% menjadi 82,7% (p<0,001). Penerapan TPM berhasil menurunkan downtime sebesar 35%, meningkatkan kecepatan produksi 12%, dan menurunkan produk cacat 18%. Dengan demikian, penerapan TPM terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi mesin CNC dan mendukung keberlanjutan operasional.
