Abstract

Banceuy Traditional Tourism Village is a cultural tourism destination located in West Java, Indonesia. The visitors are given an experience of the rich culture and tradition from Sundanese people. Traditional architecture which still preserves today, local art and traditional ritual. Other than that, guests could additionally experience fascinating fishing villages and agricultural life as well as traditional hand-making products.


The presence of Banceuy Traditional Tourism Village not only becomes a place for the maintenance and preservation of local culture, but also creates economic opportunities from cross-sector tourism that can strengthen communities. This study is intended to analyze some strengths and opportunities as well as threats that are faced by one regional tourism destination (called Banceuy Traditional Tourism Village) in responding a sustainable tourism target, also formulate strategies of how improving attracting capabilities for community welfare.


This study developed an information system of the Banceuy Traditional Tourism Village for website features, including product management (local products), profile and several history of tourism village; in managing events on the page it includes articles about previous or upcoming news; packages tour that can be chosen by customers/visitors based on available itinerary plans with offered prices, also homestays mapping dividing traditional houses according to their unique design. To serve the purpose of a single click away platform where users can easily order tickets and book homestays.


Development is using the Scrum methodology with project meetings, system blueprints, and realization. Agile methodology- Scrum process delivers high quality, innovative and useful products in a rapid pace.
