Abstract

Kalijati Historical House is one of the educational museum in Kalijati village, Subang City. The museum
displays historical objects related to the journey of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The role of museums
is very influential in developing people's insights and knowledge about history and culture. However, the lack of
information about Kalijati Historical House is an obstacle for people to visit and learn about history and culture.
Therefore, researchers plan to build a website-based information system that combines information and
communication technology. This system will present historical and cultural information in a visually appealing and
interactive form, with the aim of improving the experience and providing an interesting platform in learning history.
This information system is built using the Laravel framework with the concept of model-view-controller (MVC). The
system will contain all historical and cultural collections that can be accessed via the internet, and the features in the
system will make it easier for visitors and managers related to the museum. Using the Rapid Application Development
(RAD) method allows for quick development of the information system. The goal is to enhance museum management
and provide relevant information to the public, making it a valuable tool for museum management.
